The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for assistance in locating two “at-risk” missing children said to have been abducted by their 71-year-old father.
According to an LASD bulletin, 9-year-olds Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick were abducted by their father, David Sukonick, on Thursday evening around 8 p.m.
The abduction occurred near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster, deputies said.
All three were last seen in a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car with the license plate #SOLOYST.
LASD lists both Solomon and Marozinha at 4 feet, 4 inches tall, and both are said to weigh 90 pounds. Solomon has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing blue shorts and an unknown colored shirt; Marozinha has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing pink shorts and a white shirt.
Their father David, 71, is described by LASD as a white man who stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
“There is concern for [the children’s] well-being and we are asking for the public’s help,” the sheriff’s department said.
